I'm making a tri-planer projection tool for houdini so that we don't have to have huge texture maps for the environments.
There are a lot of things to work out, but I am figuring it out.
Houdini 15.5 (when it comes out) will actually have a tool like this, but mine will be better ;) BUT as of right now it isn't the greatest... I'm working on it though!

I only used three images. None of them were more than 1k. If I were to make a texture map, I would probably need 32k or bigger to get the same detail.
